All dogs are different so our approach to solving your dog’s problems vary.
Depending on the problems you are having, we may be able to solve your problem with one session which is approximately one to one and a half hours.
More often, however, we recommend three sessions to truly equip the owners with enough education, coaching, time and support to effectively change your dog’s behavior and keep it changed.
It’s also important for you to feel confident and able to follow through exhibiting that confidence and assertive behavior your dog will recognize and respond to. In short, we will make you the expert trainer for your dog and for the correction he/she needs.
(FREE) Session Planning - Call us and based on information gathered from you before we meet, we prepare a preliminary plan of correction which covers the specific correction techniques to be used in the training of your dog. We provide a written copy of the plan for you to refer to. After each session, we will adjust the plan if necessary to better correct the behavior based on working with your dog. You may choose 1, 2 or 3 sessions depending on your sense of what you think you need. The prices go down by the number of sessions you choose so signing up for two or three sessions saves money and makes you an expert.
Session 1 - We demonstrate for you the techniques discussed in the plan to correct the undesired behavior. We then ask you to run through the method shown and we provide suggestions on their performance if needed. We will give you a very specific routine to practice on exactly when and what to do.
Session 2 - If desired, about one to two weeks later, we can return to evaluate the progress and address any lingering problems you may have in your dog’s behavior modification following your daily training. In all cases, we act as a “coach” and critique the owner’s performance and identify what adjustments, if any, are needed. We then may modify the written the pet specific “Training Plan” and provide that written update for you to keep on hand and refer to as well as our contact information to ask questions or get advice. Most people opt for at least two sessions, unless they achieve the level of perfection they want after the first visit.
Session 3 - Keeping in mind that our combined session hours are only about 2-3 hours by the end of Session 2, Session 3 can be scheduled to work on any remaining questions or problems connected with the resolution of the behavior correction. If it is determined that we need to change in strategy to fix the problematic behavior, we begin that in Session 3.
With our three-session coaching and teaching process, we believe all owners should be able to train away their specific dog’s undesirable behaviors.
PRICES. Our “retail rates” are $185 per session which each lasts for 1-2 hours, for however long it takes for you to completely understand the methods being taught.
For retired persons, seniors, disabled veterans and rescue organizations prices are discounted by 25%.
IMPORTANT NOTE. The reason owners give up or become discouraged is that they don’t get enough coaching and support as they attempt to implement the training. Allow yourself enough coaching time to master the techniques.
